COMMERCIAL PILOT

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be able to read, speak, write, and understand English
  • Hold at least a private pilot certificate
  • Pass the Commercial Pilot knowledge exam
  • Pass the Commercial Pilot practical test (checkride)

Aeronautical Experience

  • Minimum 250 hours of flight time
  • Minimum 100 hours of pilot-in-command flight time which includes at least:
    • 50 hours in airplanes
    • 50 hours in cross country flight
  • 10 hours instrument training
  • 10 hours training in a complex airplane
